ARMY

 

Boeing, Ridley Township, Pennsylvania, was awarded a $308,035,700 modification (P00042) to foreign military sales contract W58RGZ-13-C-0002 (Holland) for 12 CH-47F helicopters.  Work will be performed in Ridley Township, Pennsylvania, with an estimated completion date of April 15, 2016.  Fiscal 2016 other procurement funds in the amount of $308,035,700 were obligated at the time of the award.  Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is the contracting activity.

 

Northrup Grumman Systems Corp., Chantilly, Virginia, was awarded a $24,587,690 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for line replaceable unit repair, reset/overhaul, and technical services for various Guardrail Common Sensors, receiving sets, AN/ARW-88(V) radio items, and obsolescence management.  One bid was solicited with one received.  Funding and work location will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of April 13, 2021.  Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen, Maryland, is the contracting activity (W56JSR-16-D-0003).

 

LEIDOS Engineering LLC, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, was awarded a $10,000,000 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery contract for support to the U.S. Army Medical Command for medical treatment and medical research facilities-related operations at various installations.  Bids were solicited via the Internet with 34 received. Funding and work location will be determined by each order, with an estimated completion date of April 13, 2021.  Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile, Alabama, is the contracting activity (W91278-16-D-0051).

 

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc., Poway, California, was awarded a $9,486,872 modification (P00050) to contract W58RGZ-13-C-0110 to exercise fiscal 2016 option hours for engineering services for the Grey Eagle unmanned aircraft system.  Work will be performed in Poway, California, with an estimated completion date of April 2, 2017.  Fiscal 2016 other procurement funds in the amount of $9,486,872 were obligated at the time of the award.  Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is the contracting activity.

 

Sterling Operations Inc., Lenoir City, Tennessee, was awarded an $8,372,456 modification (0017) to contract W912DY-10-D-0016 for environmental footprint reduction.  Work will be performed in Afghanistan, with an estimated completion date of May 1, 2018.  Fiscal 2016 operations and maintenance funds in the amount of $8,372,456 were obligated at the time of the award.  Army Corps of Engineers, Huntsville, Alabama, is the contracting activity.

 

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc., Poway, California, was awarded an $8,075,148 modification (P00049) to contract W58RGZ-13-C-0110 for engineering services for the unmanned aircraft systems.  Work will be performed in Poway, California, with an estimated completion date of April 2, 2017.  Fiscal 2016 research, development, testing, evaluation; and other procurement funds in the amount of $8,075,148 were obligated at the time of the award.  Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is the contracting activity.

 

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

 

Lockheed Martin Corp., Baltimore, Maryland, has been awarded a maximum $138,795,382 firm-fixed-price contract for broad supply chain management, and logistical support of spare parts and industrial hardware relating to the maintenance, overhaul, and repair missions of Air Force air logistics complexes. This was a sole-source acquisition using justification 10 U.S. Code 2304 (c)(1). This is an 18-month industrial product support vendor bridge contract. Locations of performance are Maryland, Georgia, Oklahoma and Utah, with an Oct. 22, 2017, performance completion date. Using military service is Air Force. Type of appropriation is fiscal 2016 through fiscal 2018 defense working capital funds. The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (SPE5EY-16-D-0525).

 

NAVY

 

Lockheed Martin Sippican, Marion, Massachusetts, is being awarded a $49,503,485 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to procure MK 39 Mod 2 expendable mobile antisubmarine warfare (ASW) training targets (EMATT).  The MK 39 Mod 2 EMATT is the Navy’s open ocean ASW training target.  Work will be performed in Marion, Massachusetts, and is expected to be completed in March 2021.  Fiscal 2016 weapons procurement (Navy) funding in the amount of $2,141,742 will be obligated on the first task order and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was competitively procured via the Federal Business Opportunities website, with one offer received. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport, Newport, Rhode Island, is the contracting activity (N66604-16-D-1326).

 

United Technologies Corp., Pratt & Whitney Military Engines, East Hartford, Connecticut, is being awarded $36,071,097 for fixed-price-incentive-fee, cost-plus-incentive-fee modification 00004 to a previously awarded advance acquisition contract (N00019-15-C-0004) for replenishment spares and maintenance services in support of the low-rate initial production Lot 10 Joint Strike Fighter aircraft.  Work will be performed in East Hartford, Connecticut (76 percent); Tinker Air Force Base (AFB) Depot, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (18 percent); Eglin AFB, Florida (2 percent); Edwards AFB, California (1 percent); Hill AFB, Utah (1 percent); Luke AFB, Arizona (1 percent); and Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, South Carolina (1 percent), and is expected to be completed in November 2016.  Fiscal 2016 operations and maintenance (Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) funds in the amount of $36,071,097 will be obligated at time of award, all of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract modification combines purchases for the Air Force ($16,538,222; 46 percent); Marine Corps ($14,096,978; 39 percent), and the Navy ($5,435,898; 15 percent).   The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
