Flag Officer Assignments

The Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus and Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Jonathan W. Greenert announced today the following assignments:

Rear Adm. (lower half) Jesse A. Wilson Jr., will be assigned as commander, Carrier Strike Group Ten, Norfolk, Virginia. Wilson is currently serving as director, Joint Integrated Air and Missile Defense Organization, Arlington, Virginia. 

Capt. Darren J. Hanson, selected for promotion to rear admiral (lower half), will be assigned as reserve deputy commander, Navy Expeditionary Combat Command, Little Creek, Virginia. Hanson is currently serving as commanding officer, Navy Reserve U.S. Naval Forces Korea Headquarters, Port Hueneme, California.  

Capt. Brian S. Hurley, selected for promotion to rear admiral (lower half), will be assigned as deputy commander, Seventh Fleet, Yokosuka, Japan. Hurley is currently serving as commanding officer, Navy Reserve Installations Command, Washington, District of Columbia.

Capt. Andrew C. Lennon, selected for promotion to rear admiral (lower half), will be assigned as reserve deputy commander, Submarine Force, Atlantic, Norfolk, Virginia. Lennon is currently serving as director, Submarine Force Reserve Component, Norfolk, Virginia.

Capt. Daniel V. MacInnis, selected for promotion to rear admiral (lower half), will be assigned as reserve deputy commander, Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland. MacInnis is currently serving as commanding officer, Navy Reserve Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, California.

Capt. Katherine A. McCabe, selected for promotion to rear admiral (lower half), will be assigned as reserve deputy, military personnel plans and policy, N13R, Arlington, Virginia. McCabe is currently serving as commanding officer, Navy Reserve Chief of Naval Operations, N1, Navy Total Force, Arlington, Virginia.
