The chief of staff, Air Force announced the following assignments:

Brig. Gen. Glen D. VanHerck, who has been selected for the grade of major general, from director, operations, Headquarters Air Force Global Strike Command, Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana, to commander, U.S. Air Force Warfare Center, Air Combat Command, Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada.
