General Officer Assignments

The chief of staff, Army announced the following assignments:

Brig. Gen. (Promotable) Robert L. Marion, program executive officer, aviation, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, to deputy for acquisition and systems management, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition, Logistics and Technology), Washington, District of Columbia. 

Brig. Gen. Paul Bontrager, deputy commanding general, 10th Mountain Division (Light), Fort Drum, New York, to deputy director for operations, U.S. Central Command, MacDill Air Force Base, Florida. 

Brig. Gen. Patrick W. Burden, deputy program executive officer, ammunition; and senior commander-Picatinny Arsenal, Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey, to program executive officer, Enterprise Information System, Fort Belvoir, Virginia. 

Brig. Gen. Thomas H. Todd III, deputy commanding general, U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command; and senior commander, Natick Soldier Systems Center, Natick, Massachusetts, to program executive officer, aviation, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. 

Col. (Promotable) Alfred F. Abramson III, deputy joint program executive officer, chemical and biological defense, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, to deputy program executive officer, ammunition; and senior commander-Picatinny Arsenal, Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey. 

Col. (Promotable) Patrick J. Donahoe, deputy commander, 10th Mountain Division (Light), Fort Drum, New York, to director, CJ-35, Resolute Support Mission, North Atlantic Treaty Organization, Operation Freedom's Sentinel, Afghanistan.
