Acting Secretary Shanahan Travels to McAllen, Texas

Acting Secretary of Defense Patrick M. Shanahan embarks Saturday, May 11, on a one-day trip to McAllen, Texas. 

In Texas, Secretary Shanahan will meet with service members currently deployed in support of the Southwest border mission.  He will also receive a border security update from Customs and Border Protection personnel.
