Chief of Naval Operations to Brief Riverine Boat, Farsi Island Investigation Results

Chief of Naval Operations Adm. John Richardson will brief the media June 30 at 9:45 a.m. EDT in the Pentagon Briefing Room (2E973) to provide results of the investigation into the seizure of two riverine boats and the detention of 10 U.S. Navy personnel by Iranian forces. Foreign journalists without a Pentagon building pass must plan on being escorted from the River Entrance Pedestrian Bridge only, or, if arriving at the Pentagon Metro Entrance Facility, must contact 703-697-5131 a minimum of one hour prior to your arrival for visitor clearance. Please arrive no later than 45 minutes before the briefing if coming by Metro. U.S. journalists without a Pentagon building pass will be picked up at the River Entrance Pedestrian Bridge or the Pentagon Metro Visitors Entrance only. If arriving by Metro, please contact 703-697-5131 a minimum of one hour prior to your arrival for visitor clearance, and plan to arrive no later than 30 minutes before the event; have proof of affiliation and photo identification. Please call 703-697-5342 for escort into the building once you have cleared security at the Metro Entrance Facility or arrived at the River Entrance Pedestrian Bridge.
