Cameroon’s Troops Learn About Counter-Bomb Operations

A handful of explosive ordnance disposal soldiers from the 764th Ordnance Company from Fort Carson, Colorado, went to Cameroon at the request of U.S. Army Africa during Counter Improvised Explosive Device-Defeat Phase I training, designed to help Cameroonian troops learn more about IEDs and how to dispose of them safely.

Basketball Diplomacy a Slam Dunk in Cameroon

Members of Task Force Toccoa, a 101st Airborne Division-led unit based in northern Cameroon, built a basketball court with freshly painted lines and hoops weighed down by concrete blocks next to an active runway, and invited Cameroon service members from the local area for a basketball game to help foster better cohesion.
