Army Divers Find Honorable Duty in Excavating Underwater Tombs

Divers mainly from the Army’s 7th Engineer Dive Detachment are archaeologists of sorts. As they sifted through the mud the consistency of wet cement, the divers searched for personal effects or aircraft wreckage to prove they were on the right path to find the remains of service members lost during the Vietnam War.
