CONTRACTS

 

NAVY

 

BAE Systems Technology Solutions and Services Inc., Rockville, Maryland, is being awarded a $41,348,229 cost-plus-fixed-fee, cost reimbursable contract for rapid design, development, customization, fabrication, integration, test and evaluation, installation, certification, maintenance and upgrade, logistic, and life cycle support of new and/or existing communication-electronic platforms, equipment/systems and subsystems.  These efforts are in support of the Naval Warfare Center Aircraft Division’s Special Communications Mission Solutions Division.  Work will be performed in St. Inigoes, Maryland (50 percent); Chesapeake, Virginia (40 percent); and Fayetteville, North Carolina (10 percent), and is expected to be completed in December 2018.  Fiscal 2015, 2016, and 2017 aircraft procurement (Navy); and working capital (Navy) funds in the amount of $2,092,626 are being obligated on this award, $970,940 of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was not competitively procured pursuant to 10 U.S. Code 2304(c)(1).  The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity (N00421-17-C-0028).

 

CDW Government, Vernon Hills, Illinois, is being awarded a $34,108,675 firm-fixed-price delivery order under a previously awarded contract (M67854-12-D-4153) for a quantity of 31,729 general purpose laptops to support the Next Generation Enterprise Network and the Secure Operational Network Infrastructure Capability fiscal 2017 computer refresh.  All work will be performed in North Las Vegas, Nevada, and is expected to be completed by November 2017. Fiscal 2016 procurement (Marine Corps) funds in the amount of $12,932,250; and fiscal 2017 procurement (Marine Corps) funds in the amount of $21,176,425 will be obligated at the time of award and will not expire the end of the current fiscal year.  Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, Virginia, is the contracting activity (M67854-17-F-0075).

 

The Boeing Co., Seattle, Washington, is being awarded a $13,541,943 modification to a previously awarded firm-price, incentive (firm-target) contract (N00019-14-C-0067).  This modification provides for electronic classroom upgrades and long lead spares for the aircrew and maintenances training devices in support of the P-8A Multi-mission Maritime Aircraft for the government of Australia.  Work will be performed in St. Louis, Missouri (95 percent); and Adelaide, Australia (5 percent), and is expected to be completed by June 2018.  International Partner funds in the amount of $13,541,943 will be obligated at time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

 

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

 

Dental Health Products Inc., New Franken, Wisconsin, has been awarded a maximum $40,000,000 fixed-price with economic-price-adjustment, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for general consumable dental supplies. This is a one-year base period contract with four one-year option periods. This was competitive acquisition with 19 offers received.  Location of performance is Wisconsin, with a Feb. 27, 2022, performance completion date. Using customers are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and federal civilian agencies.  Type of appropriation is fiscal 2017 through 2022 defense working capital funds. The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (SPE2DE-17-D-0006).

 

Saft America Inc., Valdese, North Carolina, has been awarded a maximum $27,174,561 firm-fixed-price contract for non-rechargeable batteries. This was a competitive acquisition with one offer received. This is a three-year base contract with two one-year option periods. Location of performance is North Carolina, with a Feb. 20, 2020, performance completion date. Using military services are Army and Air Force. Type of appropriation is fiscal 2017 through 2020 defense working capital funds. The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime, Columbus, Ohio (SPE7LX-17-D-0026). 

 

Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., Melbourne, Florida, has been awarded a $14,713,438 firm-fixed-price delivery order (THD3) against a long-term contract (SPM4AX-12-D-9401) for C-2A outer wing panels. This was a sole-source acquisition using justification 10 U.S. Code 2304 (c)(1). Location of performance is Florida, with a March 31, 2020, performance completion date. Using customer is Navy. Type of appropriation is fiscal 2017 Navy working capital funds. The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Aviation, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

 

AIR FORCE

 

ELTA North America Inc., Annapolis Junction, Maryland, has been awarded a $15,553,483 firm-fixed-price letter contract for counter-unmanned aerial systems. Contractor will provide the procurement, delivery, and training of 21 Man Portable Aerial Defense System kits. Production of the kits will be performed in Israel, and delivery/training to continental U.S. locations is expected to be complete by July 28, 2017.  This award is the result of a sole-source acquisition. Fiscal 2016 and 2017 research, development, test, and evaluation; and procurement funds in the amount of $7,621,207 are being obligated at the time of award. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts, is the contracting activity (FA8730-17-C-0016).

 

ARMY

 

Del Valley Group SP, Toa Baja, Puerto Rico, was awarded a $12,035,194 firm-fixed-price contract for a 2D wall that will be used for a flood control project. Bids were solicited via the Internet with five received. Work will be performed in San Juan, Puerto Rico, with an estimated completion date of Sept. 15, 2020. Fiscal 2016 other funds in the amount of $12,035,194 were obligated at the time of the award. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville, Florida, is the contracting activity (W912EP-17-C-0009).
