CONTRACTS

 

NAVY

 

Lockheed Martin Corp., Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a not-to-exceed $50,800,000 for modification P00611 to a previously awarded cost-plus-incentive-fee contract (N00019-02-C-3002) for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter verification simulation (VSim) / F-35 in-a-box software model development, integration and support.  Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas (82 percent); Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Maryland (15 percent); and Edwards Air Force Base, California (3 percent), and is expected to be completed in April 2018.  Fiscal 2017 research, development, test, and evaluation (Navy, Marine Corps and Air Force) funds in the amount of $21,616,930 will be obligated at the time of the award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract combines purchases for the Air Force ($25,400,000, 50 percent); Navy ($12,700,000, 25 percent); and the Marine Corps ($12,700,000, 25 percent).  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

 

Huntington Ingalls Inc., Newport News, Virginia, is being awarded a $9,900,000 modification to a previously awarded contract (N00024-14-C-2111) for the advance planning of the refueling complex overhaul of USS George Washington (CVN 73).  This contract modification includes additional supplemental material for work being performed in Newport News, Virginia, which is expected to complete by August 2017.  Fiscal 2016 shipbuilding and conversion (Navy) funds in the amount of $9,675,000 will be obligated at the time of award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, District of Columbia, is the contracting activity.

 

AGVIQ LLC,* Anchorage, Alaska, is being awarded a $9,000,000 cost-plus-award-fee modification to increase the maximum dollar value of a previously awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract (N62470-12-D-7004) for environmental remedial action services on Navy and Marine Corps installations at sites in the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Atlantic area of responsibility.  The work to be performed provides for environmental restoration services at environmentally contaminated sites, predominately comprehensive environmental response, compensation and liability act sites, contaminated by solvents, petroleum, oil and lubricants, metals, acids, bases, reactives, polychlorinated biphenyls, pesticides and other related activities associated with returning various sites to safe and acceptable levels of contamination in support of the Navy’s Environmental Restoration Program.  After award of this modification, the total cumulative contract value will be $121,500,000.  Work will be performed primarily in Connecticut (30 percent); Puerto Rico (30 percent); Florida (15 percent); Maryland (15 percent); and Washington (10 percent), and is expected to be completed by June 2019.  No contract funds are obligated on this award.  The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Atlantic, Norfolk, Virginia, is the contracting activity.

 

 

ARMY

 

DRS Advanced ISR LLC, Beavercreek, Ohio, was awarded a $15,730,000 firm-fixed-price contract for the sustainment to include engineering change proposals for obsolescence, procurement of spares, retrofit kits, test program kits, test program sets, and other engineering logistics services for the AN/URC-145A(V) Joint Tactical Terminal-Integrated Broadcast Service. One bid was solicited and one bid received. Work will be performed in Beavercreek, Ohio, with an estimated completion date of June 30, 2022. Fiscal 2017 other procurement (Army) will be determined with each order. U.S. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, is the contracting activity (W56KGY-17-D-0017).

 

The Boeing Co., Ridley Park, Pennsylvania, was awarded a $14,297,933 modification (P00065) to foreign military sales (Netherlands, and Turkey) contract W58RGZ-13-C-0002 for obsolescent parts changes for CH-47F Chinook helicopters. Work will be performed in Ridley Park, Pennsylvania, with an estimated completion date of Dec. 31, 2020. Fiscal 2010, 2015, 2016, and 2017 other funds in the amount of $14,297,933 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is the contracting activity.

 

BAE Systems Land and Armaments LP, Sterling Heights, Michigan, was awarded an $8,000,000 modification (P00033) to contract W56HZV-12-C-0358 to provide funding for contract cost overrun. Work will be performed in Sterling Heights, Michigan, with an estimated completion date of Sept. 14, 2017. Fiscal 2017 research, development, test, and evaluation funds in the amount of $8,000,000 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Contracting Command, Warren, Michigan, is the contracting activity.

 

CORRECTION: The announcement on June 30, 2017, for Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Stratford, Connecticut (W58RGZ-17-C-0009), is a combination of domestic and foreign military sales, and should have included the following information: the base quantity consists of 257 aircraft for the Army and foreign military sales customer Saudi Arabia National Guard, and consists of 142 Army UH-60M, 40 SANG UH-60M and 75 HH-60M.
