CONTRACTS

 

MISSILE DEFENSE AGENCY

 

Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems, Woburn, Massachusetts, is being awarded a $66,491,518 noncompetitive contract modification (P00041) to a previously awarded contract with firm-fixed-price and cost-plus-fixed-fee line items. This modification will increase the dollar value of the contract from $888,819,825 to $955,311,343. This contract modification is for production of a float antenna equipment unit (AEU), minus transmit/receive multi-channel modules), AEU spares, procurement of Dell 720 processors, prime power unit spares, and a legacy AEU T1 transformer. Work will be performed in Woburn, Massachusetts, with an expected delivery date of March 2018. Fiscal 2016 procurement funds in the amount of $66,491,518 will be obligated at time of award. The Missile Defense Agency, Huntsville, Alabama, is the contracting activity (HQ0147-12-C-0006).

 

ARMY

 

Raytheon Co., McKinney, Texas, was awarded a $32,674,202 modification (P00038) to contract W56HZV-12-C-0046 for 22 turrets for the Marine Corps light armored vehicle anti-tank variant.  Work will be performed in McKinney, Texas, with an estimated completion date of July 30, 2018.  Fiscal 2015 other procurement (Army) funds in the amount of $32,674,202 were obligated at the time of the award.  Army Contracting Command, Warren, Michigan, is the contracting activity. NAVY

 

Lockheed Martin Corp., Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $21,500,000 modification to a previously awarded advance acquisition contract (N00019-13-C-0008) to purchase, manufacture, and install various components to update the configuration of four conventional takeoff and landing variant F-35 Lightning II aircraft for the Government of Japan under the Foreign Military Sales program.  In addition, this modification provides for updates to associated systems engineering products.   Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas, and is expected to be completed in December 2016.  Foreign military sales funds in the amount of $21,500,000 are being obligated at time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting authority. 

 

Progeny Systems Corp.,* Manassas, Virginia, is being awarded a $7,736,483 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-14-C-6294 to exercise an option for engineering and technical services for information assurance (IA) solutions.  Progeny Systems Corp. shall continue formulation of IA solutions and integrate them into commercial-off-the-shelf-based combat and network systems.  The effort of this contract involves custom application of the generic IA tool-set to satisfy combat system configuration specific requirements. Progeny will acquire technical refresh kits to provide upgrade and/or modernization of existing and emergent IA improvements for the in-service IA systems, and delivery of specific products to support technology improvements and enhanced capabilities for integration into IA units and submarine warfare federated tactical subsystems.  Work will be performed in Manassas, Virginia, and is expected to be complete by January 2017.  Fiscal 2016 research, development, test and evaluation (Navy) funding in the amount of $877,991 will be obligated at time of award and will not expire this fiscal year.  The Naval Sea System Command, Washington, District of Columbia, is the contracting activity.

 

AIR FORCE

 

The Rockhill Group Inc., Molino, Florida, has been awarded a $13,166,915 firm-fixed-price contract for Air Force Special Operations Air Warfare Center aircrew instruction support services. Work will be performed at Hurlburt Field, Florida; and Cannon Air Force Base, New Mexico, and is expected to be complete by Dec. 31, 2016. This award is the result of a competitive acquisition with 11 offers received. Fiscal 2016 U.S. Southern Command operations and maintenance funds in the amount of $350,000 are being obligated at the time of award. Air Force Installation Contracting Agency, Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA0021-16-C-0001).

 

BAE Systems, Rockville, Maryland, has been awarded a $9,544,764 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity task order (0004) to previously awarded contract FA8109-15-D-0001 for provide support for the Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) management program. Contractor will provide enterprise-wide DMSMS predictive tool capability including determination of the present and future state of program managed systems' bill of material, identified items status, and their life cycle procurement efforts. Work will be performed at Newark, Ohio, and is expected to be complete by Dec. 18, 2016. Fiscal 2016 working capital funds in the amount of $9,544,764 are being obligated at the time of award. Air Force Sustainment Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, is the contracting activity (FA8109-15-D-0001).

 

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

 

AK GlobalTech Corp.,* Palisades Park, New Jersey, has been awarded a maximum $9,750,000 fixed-price with economic-price-adjustment contract for medical items and accessories. This was a competitive acquisition with 98 responses received. This is a five-year contract with no option periods. Location of performance is New Jersey, with a May 15, 2020, performance completion date. Using military services are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies. Type of appropriation is fiscal 2016 through fiscal 2021 defense working capital funds. The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (SPE2DH-16-D-0008).

 

UPDATE: American Material Handling Inc., doing business as AMH Inc.,** Watkinsville, Georgia (SPE8EC-16-D-0003), has been added as an awardee to the multiple award contract issued against solicitation SPM8EC-11-R-0007 announced on Aug. 8, 2011.

 

CORRECTION: The contracts announced on Dec. 2, 2015, for the L.C. Doane Co.,* Ivoryton, Connecticut (SPE8E7-16-D-0001); and Atlantic Diving Supply Inc., doing business as ADS Inc.,* Virginia Beach, Virginia (SPE8E7-16-D-0002), sharing $35,000,000 were announced with an incorrect award date. The correct award date is Dec. 3, 2015.
