Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile, Alabama, is the contracting activity.

 

Navistar Defense LLC, Lisle, Illinois, was awarded a $29,791,289 modification (P00014) to contract W912QR-16-D-0025 to reset and upgrade an additional 250 Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicles (MRAPs), with an option for an additional 200 vehicles.  Work will be performed in West Point, Mississippi, with an estimated completion date of May 31, 2017.  Fiscal 2016 other procurement (Army); and operations and maintenance (Army) funds in the amount of $29,791,289 were obligated at the time of the award.  Army Contracting Command Warren, Michigan, is the contracting activity.

 

Tech Systems Inc.,* Alexandria, Virginia, was awarded a $13,101,665 modification (0005) to contract W52P1J-12-G-0047 for maintenance, supply, and transportation for the Directorate of Logistics, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, with an estimated completion date of July 2, 2021.  Fiscal 2014 and 2015 operations and maintenance (Army) funds in the amount of $13,101,665 were obligated at the time of the award.  Army Contracting Command, Rock Island Arsenal, Illinois, is the contracting activity.

 

NAVY

 

Lockheed Martin Sippican Inc., Marion, Massachusetts, is being awarded a $72,842,012 firm-fixed-price, fixed-price-incentive, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the procurement of MK 48 Mod 7 heavyweight torpedo guidance and control sections, MK 48 Mod 7 Common Broadband Advanced Sonar System upgrade kits, test equipment, spares, production support material, engineering support, and hardware repair support.  This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract up to $424,687,384 at the maximum stepladder quantities.  Work will be performed in Marion, Massachusetts (91 percent); and Santa Barbara, California (9 percent), and is expected to be completed by December 2019.  Fiscal 2016 weapons procurement (Navy); and fiscal 2016 weapons procurement (Navy) spares funding in the amount of $68,899,012 will be obligated at time of award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was competitively procured with proposals solicited via the Federal Business Opportunities, with two offers received.  The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, District of Columbia, is the contracting activity (N00024-16-C-6412).

 

N2 Imaging Systems LLC, Irvine, California, is being awarded a $49,000,000 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for Weapon Sight for Crew-Served M2HB/M2A1 machine guns, test teardown and evaluation, non-warranty repairs, provision item order spares, and data.  Weapon Sight is a lightweight, self-contained, battery operated, multi-sensor system for surveillance and target acquisition during all light levels and limited visibility scenarios. Work will be performed in Irvine, California, and is expected to be completed by May 2021.  Fiscal 2016 operations and maintenance (Navy); and fiscal 2016 other procurement (Navy) funding in the amount of $4,885,694 will be obligated at time of award and funds in the amount of $3,426,748 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was competitively procured via the Federal Business Opportunities website, with four offers received. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane, Indiana, is the contracting activity (N00164-16-D-JQ16). 

 

Schneider Electric USA – Black & Veatch JV, Palatine, Illinois, is being awarded a $19,288,354 firm-fixed-price contract for design and construction of an energy security microgrid for critical facilities at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar.  The microgrid will be capable of powering numerous mission critical and support facilities during a utility grid outage, as well as providing peak shaving and/or demand response capability when connected to the utility grid.  This project will also be designed to be scalable and systemically expandable to power the entire installation.  The contract also contains four unexercised options and a planned modification, which if exercised would increase cumulative contract value to $21,867,596.  Work will be performed in San Diego, California, and is expected to be completed by July 2018.  Fiscal 2014 military construction, (Defense-Wide) contract funds in the amount of $19,288,354 are obligated on this award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was competitively procured via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website, with four proposals received.  The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southwest, San Diego, California, is the contracting activity (N62473-16-C-0611).

 

Pavetech Inc., San Diego, California, is being awarded $17,442,195 for firm-fixed-price task order 0002 under a previously awarded, multiple award construction contract (N62473-15-D-2441) for Airfield 7/25 Runway (RW) repair projects and airfield lighting repairs of RW 7/25 and Taxiway Alpha at Naval Air Station Fallon.  The work to be performed provides for repairs of deteriorated airfield pavement for air operations.  The task order also contains one option item and one planned modification, which if exercised, would increase cumulative task order value to $22,842,111.  Work will be performed in Fallon, Nevada, and is expected to be completed by January 2017.  Fiscal 2016 operation and maintenance (Navy) contract funds in the amount of $17,442,195 are obligated on this award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  Four proposals were received for this task order.  The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southwest, San Diego, California, is the contracting activity.

 

Rolls-Royce Marine North America, Walpole, Massachusetts, is being awarded an $8,153,954 cost-plus-incentive-fee modification to previously awarded contract N00024-08-C-4203 for the DDG 51 Flight III adaptation of the DDG 1000 auxiliary turbine generator, designated the AG9160RF.  Rolls-Royce Marine North America will provide one of two AG9160RF advanced power generation modules (APGMs) as test articles for use at the Navy’s Land Based Engineering Site for de-risk testing and control system integration in advance of ship installation. This contract modification will support eventual shipbuilder award and integration of the production AG9160RF APGMs for DDG 51 Flight III.  Work will be performed in Indianapolis, Indiana, and is expected to be completed by March 2018.  Fiscal 2016 shipbuilding and conversion (Navy) funding in the amount of $1,438,000 will be obligated at time of award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, District of Columbia, is the contracting activity.

 

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

 

Lifeport Inc., doing business as Sikorsky, Woodland, Washington, has been awarded a maximum $24,000,000 fixed-price with economic price adjustment contract for hospital and medical equipment. This was a competitive acquisition with 92 responses received. This is a five-year contract with no option periods. Location of performance is Washington, with a May 23, 2021, performance completion date. Using services are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies. Type of appropriation is fiscal 2016 through fiscal 2021 defense working capital funds. The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (SPE2DH-16-D-0016).
