Lockheed Martin Corp., Marietta, Georgia, has been awarded a $287,192,281.00 modification (P00014) to the previously awarded contract FA8625-14-C-6450 for an additional five C-130J type aircraft. The contract modification provides for the purchase of an additional quantity of aircraft being produced under the basic contract. Work will be performed at Marietta, Georgia, and is expected to be complete by Apr. 30, 2020. Fiscal  2014, 2015 and 2016 Air Force aircraft procurement funds; fiscal 2016   Marine Corps Navy aircraft procurement funds; fiscal 2016   Marine Corps Navy aircraft advance procurement funds; fiscal 2015 overseas contingency operations funds in the amount of $287,192,281 are being obligated at the time of award. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity.

 

Centerra Group, LLC, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, has been awarded a $10,175,652 modification (P00001) to exercise the option on previously awarded contract FA2521-16-C-0004. Contractor will provide non-personal services for fire protection, emergency management and emergency medical services. Work will be performed at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida, and is expected to be complete by Sept. 30, 2017. No funds are being obligated at the time of award. The 45th Contracting Squadron, Patrick Air Force Base, Florida, is the contracting activity.

 

Cummings Aerospace Inc., Huntsville, Alabama, has been awarded a $9,902,752 firm-fixed price and indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for hardware, software, and design.  This contract supports the Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence & Munitions Test Improvement (CIMTIC) program. The location of performance is Huntsville, Alabama, and is expected to be complete by Aug. 25, 2017. This award is the result of a competitive acquisition with three offers received.  Fiscal  2016 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $1,000 will be obligated at the time of award.  Air Force Test Center, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, is the contracting activity.  (FA2487-16-D-0145)

ARMY

 

Load King, LLC, Elk Point, South Dakota (W56HZV-16-D-0016); and Schutt Industries of Clintonville, Wisconsin, Inc.*, Clintonville, Wisconsin (W56HZV-16-D-0017); will share a $187,929,988 firm-fixed-price contract for M870A4 semitrailers including a low rate initial production quantity of 11 trailers; and a subsequent full rate production quantity up to the maximum of 1,350 trailers. Contract requirements include vehicle testing and validation, operator and maintainer training, technical manual, logistical and test support, basic issue items and system support packages.  Bids were solicited via the internet with six received. Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of Aug. 26, 2023.  Army Contracting Command, Warren, Michigan, is the contracting activity.

 

Lockheed Martin Corp., Orlando, Florida, was awarded a $147,103,298 modification (P001732) to contract W900KK-09-D-0314 to continue providing engineering, materials and equipment, personnel, testing, technical management and logistical support necessary to complete upgrades for the close combat tactical trainer systems.  Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of Sept. 28, 2017.  Army Program Executive Office, Simulation, Training and Instrumentation, Orlando, Florida, is the contracting activity.

 

Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., Herndon, Virginia, was awarded a $72,963,647 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide air and missile defense planning and control system tactical support services which include engineering and technical support.  Bids were solicited via the internet with one received. Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of Sept. 2, 2021.  Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is the contracting activity (W31P4Q-16-D-0040).

 

Walsh Federal Joint Venture, Chicago, Illinois, was awarded a $49,064,000 firm-fixed-fee contract for construction of new boiler plant.  Bids were solicited via the internet with three received. Work will be performed in Hines, Illinois, with an estimated completion date of March 4, 2019.  Fiscal 2016 other funds in the amount of $49,064,000 were obligated at the time of the award.  Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville, Kentucky, is the contracting activity (W912QR-16-C-0020).

 

CAMRIS International Inc., Bethesda, Maryland, was awarded a $32,700,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for on-site contractor support services for the Naval Medical Research Unit 3 to provide management between the U.S. government and potentially foreign personnel located in Egypt and/or specific areas of responsibilities; and assist in the design and execution of field and laboratory research related to emerging infectious diseases.  Bids were solicited via the internet with five received. Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of Aug. 25, 2021.  Army Contracting Command, Natick, Massachusetts, is the contracting activity (W911QY-16-D-0039).

 

Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., Herndon, Virginia, was awarded a $19,607,834 modification (P00004) to contract W31P4Q-16-C-0063 to exercise option period one of the sole-source requirement for sustainment of ongoing contingency operations.  Work will be performed in Huntsville, Alabama, with an estimated completion date of March 2, 2017.  Fiscal 2016 operations and maintenance funds in the amount of $19,607,834 were obligated at the time of the award.  Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is the contracting activity.

 

Quantum Spatial, Inc., Norcross, Georgia, was awarded a $12,500,000 firm-fixed-price contract for architect-engineer services for photogrammetric and surveying and mapping.  Bids were solicited via the internet with 25 received. Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of Aug. 25, 2021.  Army Corps of Engineers, St. Louis, Missouri, is the contracting activity (W912P9-16-D-0022).

 

Lockheed Martin Corp., Grand Prairie, Texas, was awarded a $9,401,080 modification (P00015) to a foreign military sales (Taiwan) contract W31P4Q-13-C-0100 for contractor field support.  Work will be performed in Grand Prairie, Texas, with an estimated completion date of Aug. 31, 2017.  Fiscal 2016 other funds in the amount of $9,401,080 were obligated at the time of the award.  Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is the contracting activity.

 

MISSILE DEFENSE AGENCY

 

Lockheed Martin Corp., Grand Prairie, Texas, is being awarded a $19,872,914 modification (P00023) to a previously awarded fixed-price contract.  The value of this modification is $19,872,914, increasing the total contract value from $896,669,237 to $916,542,151.  Under this modification, the contractor will produce two additional Lot 8 Interceptors and provide associated production support efforts for the Missile Defense Agency Terminal High Altitude Area Defense Project Office under fixed-price incentive-firm target contract line item numbers.  The work will be performed in Grand Prairie, Texas; Huntsville, Alabama; Anniston, Alabama; Camden, Arkansas; and Troy, Alabama.  The performance period is through Oct. 31, 2019.  Fiscal 2016 procurement funds in the amount of $19,872,914 are being obligated on this award.  The Missile Defense Agency, Huntsville, Alabama, is the contracting activity (# HQ0147-14-C-0011).

 

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

 

EFW Inc., Fort Worth, Texas, has been awarded a maximum $7,290,384 firm-fixed-price contract for grip assembly controllers. This was a sole source acquisition using justification 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). This is a one-year base contract with one six-month option that was exercised at the time of award. Location of performance is Texas, with a Sept. 30, 2018, performance completion date. Using military service is army. type of appropriation is fiscal 2016 Army working capital funds. The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime, Warren, Michigan (SPRDL1-16-C-0239).
