DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

 

FujiFilm SonoSite, Bothell, Washington, has been awarded a maximum $799,588,795 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for ultrasound systems, accessories and training. This is a five-year base contract with one five-year option period. This was a competitive acquisition with 27 responses received. Location of performance is Washington, with an Oct. 31, 2021, performance completion date. Using customers are Air Force, Army, Navy, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies. Type of appropriation is fiscal 2017 through fiscal 2021 defense working capital funds. The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (SPE2D1-17-D-0002).

 

AM General LLC, Mishawaka, Indiana, has been awarded a maximum $32,390,309 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for high mobility multi-wheeled vehicle truck transmissions. This was a sole-source acquisition using justification 10 U.S. Code 2304(c)(1). This is a three-year contract with no option periods. Location of performance is Indiana, with a Nov. 1, 2019, performance completion date. Using military service is Army. Type of appropriation is fiscal 2017 Army working capital funds. The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime, Warren, Michigan (SPRDL1-17-D-0007).

 

NAVY

 

Bechtel Plant Machinery Inc., Monroeville, Pennsylvania, is being awarded a $532,420,884 cost-plus-fixed-fee modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-16-C-2106) for naval nuclear propulsion components.  Work will be performed in Monroeville, Pennsylvania (78 percent) and Schenectady, New York (22 percent).  No completion date or additional information is provided on Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program contracts.  Fiscal 2017 shipbuilding and conversion (Navy) funding in the amount of $520,500,000 will be obligated at time of award and funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, District of Columbia, is the contracting activity.

 

Raytheon Missile Systems, Tucson, Arizona, is being awarded a $17,834,539 cost-plus-fixed-fee and firm-fixed price modification to a previously awarded contract (N00024-13-C-5402) for fiscal 2017,  Navy Standard Missile depot and intermediate level maintenance, all-up-round re-certifications, and special maintenance tasks. This contract will provide for the repair, maintenance, and recertification of standard missiles, sections, assemblies, subassemblies, components and test or support equipment for fiscal 2017.  Work will be performed in Tucson, Arizona and is expected to be completed by December 2017. Fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance (Navy) funding in the amount of $2,377,000 will be obligated at the time of award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington District of Columbia, is the contracting activity.

 

Konecranes Nuclear Equipment and Services LLC, New Berlin, Wisconsin, is being awarded firm-fixed-price task order 0002 at $13,773,895 under a single award indefinite-delivery requirements contract for procurement of one 25 ton portal crane with removal of the existing crane at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility.  The task order also contains one unexercised option, which if exercised would increase cumulative task order value to $14,966,300.  Work will be performed in New Berlin, Wisconsin (90 percent); and Bangor, Washington (10 percent), and is expected to be completed by November 2019.  Fiscal 2017 other procurement (Navy) contract funds in the amount of $13,773,895 are obligated on this award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Norfolk, Virginia, is the contracting activity (N62470-16-D-2013).

 

ARMY

 

PRIDE Industries, Roseville, California, was awarded a $67,030,903 modification (P00031) to contract W911SG-14-C-0001 for maintenance and repair of all building and structures.  Work may include carpentry, plumbing, electrical, masonry, painting, sign work, HVAC work, flooring, minor roofing, metalwork, locksmith services, fire alarms, fire suppression, glass and glazing, deconstruction and other trades that relate to the maintenance and repair of real property facilities.  Work will be performed at Fort Bliss, Texas, with an estimated completion date of Oct.31, 2017.  Fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance (Army) funds in the amount of $15,198,421 were obligated at the time of the award.  Army Contracting Command, Fort Bliss, Texas, is the contracting activity.

 

EMCOR Government Services, Arlington, Virginia, was awarded a $19,682,897 modification (P00058) to contract W9124A-13-C-0002 for base services facilities operations and maintenance contract.  Work will be performed at Fort Huachuca, Arizona, with an estimated completion date of Oct. 31, 2017.  Fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance (Army) funds in the amount of $1,380,965 were obligated at the time of the award.  Army Contracting Command, Fort Huachuca, Arizona, is the contracting activity.

 

Honeywell Technology Solutions Inc., Columbia, Maryland, was awarded a $12,225,032 modification (P000121) to contract W52P1J-12-G-0061 for option period two for the Army Prepositioned Stock Four – Korea, logistics support services including maintenance, supply and care of supplies in storage under the Enhanced Army Global Logistics Enterprise Program.  Work will be performed in the Republic of Korea with an estimated completion date of Nov. 29, 2017.  Fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance (Army) funds in the amount of $12,225,032 were obligated at the time of the award.  Army Contracting Command, Rock Island Arsenal, Illinois, is the contracting activity.

 

D. Wheatley Enterprises Inc.,* Belcamp, Maryland, was awarded a $9,163,906 firm-fixed-price contract for lifecycle support for the program executive office for assembled weapons alternative escape breathing apparatus for use at chemical demilitarization sites.  Bids were solicited via the Internet with one received. Work will be performed in Belcamp, Maryland, with an estimated completion date of Oct. 30, 2017.  Fiscal 2017 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $6,063,670 were obligated at the time of the award.  Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, is the contracting activity (W911SR-17-C-0005).
