Sept. 26, 2018
Secretary of Defense James N. Mattis announced today that the president has made the following nomination:
 
Navy Vice Adm. Andrew L. Lewis for reappointment to the rank of vice admiral and assignment as commander, Second Fleet; and commander, Joint Forces Command Norfolk.  Lewis is currently serving as commander, Second Fleet, Norfolk, Virginia.
