General Officer Assignments

The chief of staff, Army announced the following assignments:

 

Maj. Gen. Joseph Caravalho Jr., deputy surgeon general; and deputy commanding general (Support), U.S. Army Medical Command, Falls Church, Virginia, to Joint Staff surgeon, Joint Staff, Washington, District of Columbia.

 

Brig. Gen. Ronald J. Place, assistant surgeon general for quality and safety (Provisional), Office of The Surgeon General; and deputy chief of staff, quality and safety (Provisional), U.S. Army Medical Command, Washington, District of Columbia, to commanding general, Regional Health Command - Atlantic (Provisional), Fort Belvoir, Virginia.

 

Brig. Gen. Robert D. Tenhet, commanding general, Regional Health Command - Atlantic (Provisional), Fort Belvoir, Virginia, to deputy surgeon general; and deputy commanding general (Support), U.S. Army Medical Command, Falls Church, Virginia.
