Stennis in the Arabian Gulf, Oct. 5, 2011. Garman is an aviation machinist's mate. The John C. Stennis is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility conducting maritime security operations. The helicopter is assigned to Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron 71.
