A U.S. Army soldier from the 3rd Battalion, 10th Special Forces, Fort Carson, Colo., gets his first look at the Bosnian countryside from the window of a U.S. Air Force C-130 Hercules during the plane's approach into Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, on Dec. 18, 1995. Soldiers are deploying to Sarajevo to support the NATO Enabling Force of Operation Joint Endeavor. Enabling forces are moving into the Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Slovenia theaters of operation to prepare entry points for the main Implementation Force.
