C-17A delivers cargo, equipment and personnel to Jordanian Air Base.
A U.S. Air Force C-17A Globemaster III is unloaded and refueled at a Jordanian Air Base on April 4, 1996. The aircraft is delivering cargo, support equipment and personnel for a U.S. Air Force Air Power Expeditionary Force which will operate out of Jordan. The Expeditionary Force will provide additional land-based air forces to augment regional assets. The deployment will also give the Air Force an opportunity to work and train with coalition partners in the region. The deployment should be completed near the end of June 1996. The Globemaster is deployed from the 14th Airlift Squadron, Charleston Air Force Base, S.C.
