U.S. Air Force Security Specialist works with his Jordanian counterparts.
U.S. Air Force Security Specialist Airman 1st Class Gregory G. Myers works in concert with his Jordanian counterparts as he checks identification cards at the front gate of a Jordanian Air Base on April 4, 1996. Security at the base is being increased as cargo, support equipment and personnel for a U.S. Air Force Air Power Expeditionary Force arrives in Jordan. The Expeditionary Force will provide additional land-based air forces to augment regional assets. The deployment will also give the Air Force an opportunity to work and train with coalition partners in the region. The deployment should be completed near the end of June 1996. Myers, a Charleston, W. Va. Native, is deployed from the 1st Security Police Squadron, Langley Air Force Base, Va.
