An A-6 Intruder is readied for launch on the number one catapult during flight operations on board the USS Enterprise (CVN 65) on April 27, 1996, while the ship is underway for Combined Joint Task Force Exercise '96. More than 53,000 military service members from the United States and the United Kingdom are participating in Combined Joint Task Force Exercise 96 on military installations in the Southeastern United States and in waters along the Eastern seaboard. The Intruder is assigned to Attack Squadron 75 from Naval Air Station Oceana, Va.
