U.S. Marines from Bravo Company, Battalion Landing Team 1/8 wait aboard a U.S. Navy Landing Craft Utility that will transport them to the USS Nassau (LHA 4) from Radio Island near Morehead City, N.C., on May 4, 1996, for Combined Joint Task Exercise 96. More than 53,000 military service members from the United States and the United Kingdom are participating in Combined Joint Task Force Exercise 96 on military installations in the Southeastern United States and in waters along the Eastern seaboard.
