Sgt. Felix Gonzales uses a control box to remotely control a Panther armored mine clearing vehicle in front of the M-113 Armored Personnel Carrier he is riding on during Operation Joint Endeavor on May 16, 1996, in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The remotely controlled Panther, based on a modified M-60 tank hull, is being used to ensure the road near McGovern Base is clear of mines. Gonzales is attached to the 23rd Engineer Battalion, 1st Brigade, 1st Armored Division.
