USS Grapple (ARS 53) to be at the TWA FLT 800 Crash Site
The Norfolk based salvage rescue ship USS Grapple (ARS 53) joined her sister ship USS Grasp (ARS 51) on July 29, 1996 over the crash site of TWA flight 800. Grapple will be positioned where the forward part of the ill-fated 747 jet is thought to rest on the ocean floor.
