Guam Police Department personnel take cover as a U.S. Navy CH-46 Sea Knight helicopter from Helicopter Combat Support Squadron 5 evacuates survivors to U. S. Naval Hospital, Guam, on Aug 6, 1997. U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Air Force, and numerous civilian rescue teams, currently assisting in the search and rescue efforts of KAL flight 801, evacuated survivors from the crash site during the early morning of August 6th.
