Pentagon's 130,861st Visitor Takes the Tour
Mr. Jianyi Yang of Sichuan, China, an employee of the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China, in San Francisco, California, was honored at the Pentagon, October 22, 1997, as the 130,861st visitor of the year, breaking the old record set in 1996. Army specialist Ron Gore, a Pentagon tour guide, assisted by Petty Officer Signalman 3d Class John Albano (standing to the rear), conducted the tour for Mr. Yang and his three guests - all from Beijing, China. In addition to the special motorized tour of the world's largest office building, Mr. Yang was presented a certificate and special medallions struck for Secretary of Defense William Cohen and the Pentagon tour guides.
