Tech. Sgt. Darrell Hodger tightens down a cargo strap on a pallet of equipment so it can be loaded on a C-5A Galaxy aircraft at Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., for shipment to the Persian Gulf area of operations on Nov. 21, 1997. The equipment will be used to support the 347th Air Expeditionary Wing (Provisional), from Moody Air Force Base, Ga., in Operation Southern Watch. Southern Watch is the U.S. and coalition enforcement of the no-fly-zone over Southern Iraq. Hodger is a load team member of the 20th Equipment Maintenance Squadron at Shaw.
