Montgomery and other Marines of the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit are participating in Exercise Eager Mace 98. Eager Mace 98 is a joint, combined, amphibious, ground, air, and naval training exercise with U.S. and Kuwaiti armed forces. Montgomery uses his skills as a Marine interrogator/ translator to alert local Kuwaitis of the training taking place during the exercise.
