U.S. Air Force Security Policeman Airman 1st Class Marco C. Kalkbrenner uses a mirror on a pole to inspect the undercarriage of a vehicle before letting it enter Tuzla Air Base in Bosnia and Herzegovina, on Dec. 17, 1997. Kalkbrenner, from Virginia Beach, Va., is deployed to Tuzla from the 48th Security Forces Squadron out of RAF Lakenheath, United Kingdom, in support of Operation Joint Guard. He is attached to the 401st Expeditionary Air Base Group at Tuzla.
