Staff Sgt. Patrick Gibbens demonstrates a toy to some of the children living at the Mother and Child Refugee Center in Simin Han, Bosnia and Herzegovina, on Jan. 30, 1998. The center houses refugees from Srebrenica, whose fathers were killed or missing from the Balkan Conflicts. Gibbens, along with members from the 401st Expeditionary Air Base Group out of Tuzla Air Base, volunteered to deliver donations of toys, food and clothing to help the people living at the refugee center. Gibbens is a U.S. Air Force ground radio repairman assigned to the 18th Eagle Air Support Operations Squadron, at Eagle Base Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina, as part of the Stabilization Force in Operation Joint Guard.
