Staff Sgt. Edward Evans guides an A-10 Thunderbolt to its parking position after its return from patrolling the no-fly-zone over Southern Iraq on Feb. 27, 1998, in support of Operation Southern Watch. Evans is a Thunderbolt crew chief assigned to the 74th Fighter Squadron deployed from the 23rd Fighter Group, Pope Air Force Base, N.C. The A-10's of the 74th have been flying the zone since 1994 in support of Southern Watch.
