Sacks of corn come hurtling to the earth as a U.S. Marine Corps C-130 Hercules drops a load of World Food Program corn on the drop zone outside the village of Madogashi, Kenya, on March 4, 1998. U.S. Central Command forces are conducting Operation Noble Response to provide disaster relief assistance to flood victims in Kenya. Central Command is working with the United States Agency for International Development and the World Food Program to deliver the aid which is being provided at the request of the government of Kenya.
