Marines are nearly obscured by smoke as they maneuver their way through the Military Operations in Urban Terrain facility at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, N.C., on April 22, 1998, during a rehearsal for Urban Warrior. Urban Warrior is a series of Limited Objective Experiments sponsored by the Marine Corps Warfighting Lab. The experimentation will examine the urban tactics of thrust and penetration, the use of man-portable shields and breaching technologies, and new tactical possibilities for hospital corpsmen. These Marines are attached to Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 8th Marines.
