Sgt. Matthew Fahey recovers his parachute in the drop zone during a combined airborne operation at Tuzla Air Base, Bosnia and Herzegovina, on May 7, 1998. Paratroopers from the United States, Poland, Norway, and England are taking part in the combined parachute jump. Fahey is attached to the 21st Military Police Company, Fort Bragg, N.C., and is deployed to Tuzla as part of the Stabilization Force in Operation Joint Guard.
