An Army National Guard UH-60 Blackhawk fills a 700 gallon water bucket to fight the forest fires in Palatka, Fla., on July 7, 1998. This is the first time the bucket, commonly known as a Bambi bucket, has been used by the National Guard Blackhawks and their crews from the 1-171 Combat Support Aviation Battalion. The fires have forced thousands of residents to be evacuated from their homes.
