Simulated casualty Senior Airman Jose Rivera, U.S. Air Force, is loaded on a truck for transport to the hospital during a simulated chemical attack at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, on Oct. 29, 1998, during Exercise Foal Eagle '98. Foal Eagle '98 is a combined, joint exercise supported by forces from the U.S. and Republic of Korea. In addition to providing hands-on field experience for forces of both nations, Foal Eagle '98 was designed to test rear area protection operations and major command, control and communications systems. Rivera is attached to the 303rd Intelligence Squadron at Osan.
