Members of the U.S. Army's 2nd Infantry Division, 3rd Brigade, find that negotiating their way to the Tactical Assembly Area at the Twin Bridges Training Area, Tongduchon, Republic of Korea, can be tricky, especially when local traffic gets in the mix, on Nov. 1, 1998, during Exercise Foal Eagle '98. Foal Eagle '98 is a combined, joint exercise supported by forces from the U.S. and Republic of Korea. In addition to providing hands-on field experience for forces of both nations, Foal Eagle '98 was designed to test rear area protection operations and major command, control and communications systems.
