U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Timothy Marino uses a mirror to inspect the under carriage of a truck before admitting it into Camp Fairwinds in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, on Dec. 15, 1998. Troops of the U.S. Support Group Haiti are deployed to Camp Fairwinds in support of Operation Uphold Democracy. The Group is setting up temporary humanitarian assistance sites to provide medical and dental attention to the Haitian people and rebuilding schools and roads throughout Haiti. Marino is attached to the 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marines.
