Petty Officer 2nd Class Ricardo Salicrup stands watch over a variety of missiles and bombs in the area known as the bomb farm on the flight deck of the USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70) on Feb. 27, 1999. Vinson and its embarked Carrier Air Wing 11 are on station in the Persian Gulf in support of Operation Southern Watch, which is the U.S. and coalition enforcement of the no-fly-zone over Southern Iraq. Salicrup is a Navy Aviation Ordnanceman from Santurce, Puerto Rico.
