Senior Airman Frank C. The ravine crossing is one of the 18 stages of a Republic of Korea Special Forces obstacle course during Tiger Challenge '99. Hope is an enlisted terminal attack controller or ETAC from the 604th Air Support Operations Squadron, Republic of Korea. Tiger Challenge '99 is testing Hope and 19 other competitors on their ability to perform a variety of tasks drawn directly from their mission of close air support, calling in air strikes against the enemy in close proximity to friendly forces. Hope is from Los Angeles, Calif.
