North Carolina Air National Guard Master Sgt. Gene Dellinger directs a forklift operator as they unload a pallet of relief supplies from a C-130 Hercules at Wilmington International Airport, N.C. on Sept. 17, 1999. The airmen are joining hundreds of other National Guard troops in North Carolina and surrounding states to provide disaster and humanitarian relief for thousands of people hit by Hurricane Floyd. Dellinger, of Indian Head, S.C., is a loadmaster with the 145th Airlift Wing in Charlotte, N.C. The Hercules is attached to the North Carolina Air National Guard's 145th Airlift Wing.
