Airman First Class Olivia Latham uses a Wide Angle Surveillance Thermal Imager to scan the control tower at Osan Air Base, Korea, for infiltrators during Exercise Foal Eagle '99 on Oct. 27, 1999. Exercise Foal Eagle '99 is the 38th in a series of regularly scheduled rear area defense field training exercises. The annual exercise is held at a variety of locations throughout the Korean peninsula and involves some 30,000 U.S. military forces. Latham is attached to the 51st Security Forces Squadron at Osan.
