The Coast Guard cutter Anacapa prepares to launch a rigid hull inflatable boat while underway in the Eastern Channel of Sitka Sound, Alaska, during Exercise Northern Edge 2000 on March 5, 2000. Northern Edge 2000 is Alaska's largest joint military training exercise involving over 10,000 men and women from all five services. The 110-foot Anacapa is based in Petersburg, Alaska.
