U.S. Marine Corps riflemen deploy from a Light Armored Vehicle (LAV-25) during a live-fire training exercise at the Udairi Training Range in northern Kuwait on April 8, 2000. After destroying the simulated enemy trucks with its turret-mounted 25 mm chain gun, the LAV deployed six Marine riflemen to deal with the remaining simulated enemy personnel. The LAV is attached to the 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit.
