A U.S. Marine Corps Light Armored Vehicle (LAV-25) maneuvers off the range at the conclusion of a live-fire training exercise at the Udairi Training Range in northern Kuwait on April 8, 2000. The LAV-25 is an all-terrain, all-weather vehicle with night capabilities and is armed with a turret-mounted 25 mm chain gun, and a 7.62 mm machine gun. The vehicle is capable of transporting six Marines inside the hull. The LAV is attached to the 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit.
