Staff Sgt. John J. McCarthy, U.S. Army, and his interpreter talk to a Kosovar Serb man after giving him a copy of "Dialog", a KFOR publication printed in Serbo-Croatian and Albanian, on May 4, 2000, in the Novo Brdo Obstina, Kosovo. McCarthy is attached to the 315th Psychological Operations Company, and is deployed to Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo, as part of KFOR. KFOR is the NATO-led, international military force in Kosovo on the peacekeeping mission known as Operation Joint Guardian.
