Secretary Cohen reminds Americans that "Freedom is not free," as he speaks at Arlington National Cemetery.
Surrounded by Korean War veterans and their families, Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen reminds Americans that "Freedom is not free." as he speaks at Arlington National Cemetery on June 25, 2000, during ceremonies commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the start of the Korean War. Cohen stressed the importance of remembering the lessons of that war and the sacrifices of the brave men and women of the United States and the 20 allied nations who participated in what is often called "the forgotten war".
