The USS Normandy (CG 60) fires its five inch guns at the training range on Vieques, Puerto Rico, on June 26, 2000. The Normandy is deploying as part of the George Washington Battle Group on scheduled six month deployment. The Ticonderoga class cruiser is home ported in Norfolk, Va.
