The U.S. Navy's Deep Submergence Rescue Vehicle Mystic (DSRV 1) is loaded aboard a U.S. Air Force Reserve C-5A Galaxy aircraft at Naval Air Station North Island in San Diego, Calif., on Aug. 22, 2000. The Mystic is being transported to Europe to take part in Exercise Sorbet Royal 2000, a NATO submarine rescue exercise off the Mediterranean coast of Turkey.
