Sgt. 1st Class James T. Graves (right) joins his competitors on the medals platform after winning the bronze medal in the Men's Skeet competition at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia, on Sept. 23, 2000. Graves is one of fifteen U.S. military athletes competing in the 2000 Olympic games as members of the U.S. Olympic team. In addition to the 15 competing athletes there are eight alternates and five coaches representing each of the four services in various venues. Graves is attached to the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit, Fort Benning, Ga. Graves is on the podium with silver medalist Petr Malek (left), of the Czech Republic, and gold winner Mykola Milchev (center) of Ukraine.
